ALLBOOK BOOKS was started in 2002 for the publishing of poetry and other writings with consciousness, and expanded that to encouraging the many voices of one-world consciousness and respecting the variety of cultures, lifestyles and spiritual traditions living in kinship with Mother Earth and the cycles of the seasons. The name honors one of my Uncles, Alan, who was a kind man and a lover of books. I wanted the name to be Alsbook Books, but since the county wouldn’t allow registration of a business using someone else’s name... it became Allbook Books.

In a world where mass-production and mega-business often override quality, it is essential to take note of small presses, independent publishers, non-corporate news and websites, independent bookstores, and other venues where free expression is encouraged.
